More Mom Time

I sort of bribed my mom into coming down here with a little bit of golfing and 80 degree weather! We didn't get around to golfing but we sure did enjoy the weather!

At Torrey Pines Reserve

Hunting for seashells

Some really cool sea stairs

It was nap time

As we were walking along the beach we saw these guys flying over us, so we decided to drive up to the hand-glider port to see what it was all about. This is the newest addition to my bucket list!

Keep your eyes peeled

You see that cute little pepper shaker above? Well it is lonely!!! It needs its other half. Now this is where I need you to help me. I want you to keep an eye out for me and if you see a salt shaker that looks like it would be a good match for Mr. Pepper shaker......Please let me know.

Sleepover

I never had sisters growing up so I've kind of adopted my nieces as little sisters. I love those little munchkins, and it makes me feel so happy when I go home because they always take time to come see me. So when I went home for a week in February it was a guarantee that I would be participating in a sleepover at grandmas! Sleepovers usually involve lots of games,  I-Spy books, any kind of princess/fairy/barbie movie and of course just being silly.

She put the hat on and started singing and dancing. She would only let me record her singing though.

Stratford Family Rules

For the safety and well being of everyone in the Stratford family, they have two rules.

Rule 1) Always stay together as group

Rule 2) Never trust anyone in the group!

Rule 2 is the most important rule of all, just watch this video and you will understand why.

Beach

I got off work early today and as I was driving home, I saw people lined up along the beach and I knew I needed to be one of those people. I sped up and made it home in record time. I changed out of my work clothes and I practically dragged Brian out the door to go to the beach with me.

I tried to tell Brian socks and shoes do not go with beach

See how happy the beach makes me! (I told you I needed to be there)

Ahhh Fer Cute

And for the best part of the day.... I found a sand dollar! It almost got washed away by a wave but I chased it down fast like a Jimmy Bear and saved it. Not even 5 minutes earlier I was telling Brian how sad I was because I was the only person so far not to find a sand dollar. Even my 5 year old neice found one!

*Sigh......I love San Diego and the beach!!!!!

Sheep or cow?

What is big and woolly and likes to eat hay?

If you said Mable you are correct!

Mable is the last sheep on my family's ranch, even though she doesn't know it. She thinks she's a cow!

Teacupping

Game Faces

(I highly suggest you turn up your volume and listen to the "sounds" of teacupping)

If you couldn't tell Tecupping consists of riding the teacups at night and spinning the teacup as fast as you possible can while looking up at the lights. If you are not lucky, you will come away bruised and broken. I have the scar to prove it!

P.S.
You may have heard me mention a corndog........

This is the said corndog
