Way Behind!

Wow... it's been awhile. So lots has happened since my last post here's a little overview to catch ya up.

  • Biggest news of all...... I'M FINALLY MARRIED!!! WOOT!!!
  • Went to San Diego on my honeymoon and I can find my way to the grocery store, Brian's school, and the most important...the beach! Finding my way back to the apartment is a totally different story though.
  • Watched a car sink into the marina.
  • Got evacuated from work because of a gas leak.
  • Moved half of my belongings and most of Brians belongings to San Diego.
  • It's been 11 days since I last saw Brian and I only have 14 more days till I see him again.
  • And last but not least and possibly the saddest news of all......Summer is over! :'(

Summer Fun

I'm sooooo glad the 4th of July is over with! It wasn't as crazy as some years, but it was crazy enough. Luckily, nothing too horrible happened, and all of us at Cisco's survived another holiday so we decided to celebrate by taking Big Red out and having some fun. The water was too choppy to do any serious wakeboarding so we decided to tube instead. I have decided that most times when you fall off, it all depends on who you go tubing with, not who the driver is. (How many times you skid across the water is of course the drivers fault!!) If you are with someone who is not falling off no way no how, your chances are pretty good of staying on the tube for a while. If the person you are with has a death wish and is crazy.... I'm sorry but you will probably end up falling off head first tangled up with the other person. Luckily the water wasn't that bad. Once you got numb the water felt really good! Hopefully we can go again soon!

Natalie and Me hanging on for dear life.. (she's the person you want to go with if you don't want to fall off! Except she screams alot so I was laughing so hard I almost fell off anyway)

Zack and Coley right before Zack tried to jump the wake and then he pushed her off the tube! (He is one of those people that if you go with them, you will be going in the water ALOT!!!)

Tauni and Dillon, Gotta love the farmers tan!!

Natalie begging Zack to please drive the boat nice, and Cassidy knowing her brother is going to dump them the first chance he gets!!

So far this year, the lake has been cold and it has rained a lot. But today we got a little break and there was a moment where the sun decided to come out from behind the clouds. Dilly and I decided that this would be a perfect moment to feed the fish. If you put bread between your toes they will come suck it out.

So if you're ever around the area, come on down to Cisco's and see if your brave enough to let the fish suck on your toes!

Shoes

I love shoes!! All types of shoes, high heels, little heels, flats, boots, jelly shoes, flip flops. OK so I don't like the pointy toed witch shoes and sometimes wedges just don't look good, but for the most part show me a shoe and I will want it. The bottom of my closet is filled with shoes and honestly I still don't have enough.

I think my nieces have this shoe love also because they love to raid my shoes. The higher the heel the better the shoe.

"No Fun" Business Trip

Good news....Brian and I are officially going to San Diego!!

(*Doing a happy dance).

Now I gotta give a little shout out to Brian's parents! They are amazing!! They took Brian and I down to San Diego and they drove us from place to place and helped us find an apartment. I am so glad they were there to help us out. So here's to my future in laws!!! Thank you for all your help and for everything you guys did for us!!!!

Last Wednesday we (Brian, his parents and me) left on our "No Fun" business trip to go find an apartment. I named it that because Brian told me I could have no fun. Well he was wrong about that! Some of the big things we did was stop at Disneyland.

We ate at a really cool restaurant that sits over the water and after we went to the beach and my future mother-in-law took some amazing pictures of Brian and me.

Future father-in-law took us to Balboa Park and lets us look around and also took us to Body World, and told us of some of the history of San Diego. He also took us to a Padres Baseball game an we sat in the all you can eat section and got sick off of hot dogs and nachos and popcorn.

In the end it was an fun trip, (except for the drive home....hour 10 is a doozie) and we accomplished what we went down for. We got an apartment!

Cooking

I made fajita's!! For those of you who know me, you know what a miracle this is. For those of you who don't know me....I don't cook!!! I'm not the cooking type. A bowl of cereal is just fine for me. My mom tried thousands of times to teach me how to cook. But I would have none of it. She actually did get me to make banana puffs though, (they are my most favorite cookie of all time!!) because she told me the only way I could get them was if I made them myself. But until I started working at Cisco's I had no need to cook. Since that time I am now a pro of cupcakes, chocolate cake (from scratch!!), waffles (also from scratch), and mickey mouse pancakes. I'm not that great but I'm still learning and the good news in all of this is, Brian and I won't starve!! Woot!

Your never too old for Mickey Mouse pancakes!

Doesn't Look as good as it tasted....but I made it =O =D

Becky thought it might be good to document my attempt at cooking with peppers, and not only did I cook with them I ate them too!
