I love vacations. And lucky for me I have been fortunate to have in-laws that like to vacation and are willing to take me along with them. In July we drove to California for a couple days. Sadly the pictures from the baseball game are on my other camera so I'm going to have to leave those out for now.
We got to go to a Character breakfast at Disneyland one day. It was fun because there were some characters that you normally don't get to see. Like Piglet and the Fairy Godmother. I didn't get any pictures of them but I did get a picture of Rafiki.....or as Brian likes to call him LaFreaky.
Tigger was also there and he was the funniest character. He tried to eat Ben's breakfast. In this picture he is saying grace.
I LOVE breakfast.... Especially Mickey Waffles..MmmMMMM
When I was little I wanted to get married in the "Mickey Mouse Temple."
I love funnel cakes....sadly no one puts marshmallow cream on them anymore so their not as scrumptious as they could be.
One of my Aunts looks like Ursula, so I was always scared of her when I was little.
I want my hair to do that
For some reason The Little Mermaid ride broke down. Lucky for us we were at the very end of the ride so we got to see it all. Bad for us since we were at the end of the ride we were the very last ones to get out of our clamshells.
This is how Brian and I felt about being stuck in a clam shell.
Bahaha this is probably one of my favorite pictures of a picture. This was on the Tower of Terror right before you drop. I love the look on my mother-in-laws face!! We are only going to drop to our deaths and she has a look of pure boredom... Her face is AWESOME!!!!
Universal Studio's was pretty amazing as well.. If you can't tell by my face I was sorta in shock trying to take in all the awesomeness that's Universal.....And we hadn't even made it into the park yet!
I'm still in shock in this picture but that's because I was just slobbered on by a huge T-Rex
I thought the back lot tour was extra awesome.. This building is the clock tower in Back To the Future, and the main city building in Bruce Almighty. I'm sure it's tons more movies but those are the only ones I can remember.
The little go cart from Little Rascals "Dear Darla, I hate your stinking guts You make me vomit.Your scum between my toes. Love Alf Alfa."
The car from Mr. Bean
My favorite song when I was little was "On the good ship Lolipop" and I always wanted hair like Shirley Temple, so my Grandma took me with her to her hair appointment so I could get a perm to look just like Shirley Temple.
My family loves John Wayne so of course I had to take a picture of his fist punch in the cement.
We also got to walk down Rodeo Dr. The whole time I was singing in my head "Pretty woman, walking down the street. Pretty woman the kind I like to meet."
Now this is the size of suitcase I need!!!!
This was just a drive by picture, but I didn't know that the L.A Temple was that big!
We got to stop at the beach and I couldn't help but climb on this extra large beach chair
And of course the best way to get off a really big chair is to JUMP
mmmm I want to live close to the ocean again. *Sigh*
Welcome to the Gun Show
Yup I think it's time for another trip to California!
